There are several ways to prevent LPG cylinder leaks:
- Always purchase LPG cylinders from authorized dealers who follow safety standards and regulations.
- Store LPG cylinders in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Check the expiry date on the cylinder before purchase and do not use expired cylinders.
- Regularly inspect the cylinder for any signs of damage or rust. If you notice any, do not use the cylinder and return it to the dealer.
- Never keep a cylinder in a horizontal position, as this can lead to gas leakage.
- Always turn off the regulator after use and ensure the knob on the stove is turned off.
- Do not use a cylinder with a damaged or loose valve.
- Use a good quality regulator with a pressure gauge that indicates the gas level in the cylinder.
- Keep LPG cylinders out of the reach of children and pets.
- Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for using the cylinder and stove, and do not modify them in any way.
