LPG Safety Tips

There are several ways to prevent LPG cylinder leaks:

  1. Always purchase LPG cylinders from authorized dealers who follow safety standards and regulations.
  2. Store LPG cylinders in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  3. Check the expiry date on the cylinder before purchase and do not use expired cylinders.
  4. Regularly inspect the cylinder for any signs of damage or rust. If you notice any, do not use the cylinder and return it to the dealer.
  5. Never keep a cylinder in a horizontal position, as this can lead to gas leakage.
  6. Always turn off the regulator after use and ensure the knob on the stove is turned off.
  7. Do not use a cylinder with a damaged or loose valve.
  8. Use a good quality regulator with a pressure gauge that indicates the gas level in the cylinder.
  9. Keep LPG cylinders out of the reach of children and pets.
  10. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for using the cylinder and stove, and do not modify them in any way.
